West Oxford Community Renewables (WOCoRe) builds community-owned renewable energy schemes in West Oxford to generate green energy and provide income to fund carbon reduction projects in our community.

Low Carbon West Oxford (LCWO) is a volunteer led charity which aims to combat climate change by cutting our community carbon dioxide emissions by 80 % by 2050, encouraging residents to live more sustainably, and contributing to a more cohesive and resilient community.

Hogacre Common Eco Park is an eleven acre site less than a mile from the centre of Oxford and within its fertile flood plains. Bounded by streams on three sides and only accessible by foot, it features field, woodland and aquatic habitats and hosts low carbon community activities and events.
